We play, we pose, we sing, and we breathe to promote confidence, foster well-being, and support peaceful communities for all.
These fun-filled classes provide a safe space for children to grow and play through yoga poses, games and activities that encourage strength, flexibility, and body awareness.
I offer three types of kids yoga classes:
1. Kids Yoga: ages 4 to 8 years. Offered in-studio or in your home in 4-week sessions. Classes are non-competitive, encouraging environments specifically tailored to be age-appropriate for children. Classes will focus on building strength, flexibility and balance. It’s a fun and friendly! Each class ends with a special moment for the kids to honor their own spirit with “snuggle-cuddle time” (savasana) and an invitation to honor the Special Light within their own hearts (Namaste). (minimum 6; maximum 12 children.)
2. Mommy and Me Yoga: moms and babies, ages infant to 5 years. Moms and little yogis take this class together. The class offers a high quality workout for moms and quality together time for families. Each class is tailored to the participants; age-appropriate, brain-based teaching strategies engage little yogis and promote the development of fine and gross motor skills. A full “parent review” of my classes can be found here. (minimum 6; maximum 12 children.)
3. Kids Yoga Birthday Parties: fun for any age! Classes are 1 hour in length, which fits nicely in between party activities (healthy birthday treats and opening presents). Party-goers will participate in a fun-filled, energetic yoga class and leave the party feeling refreshed, centered, and grateful. Prices vary depending on location; base price is $90. (Studio Rental is 1.5 hours; maximum 10 children per party.)
**There are no on-going classes offered. All kids yoga classes are privately scheduled. Please use the form at the bottom of this page.
