Lisa Ash Yoga is committed to providing the highest quality continuing education courses for yoga teachers in the Midwest. Lisa offers Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Modules which are appropriate for yoga teachers who want to deepen their knowledge of anatomy, movement patterns, healing modalities and teaching methodology.
Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Modules are designed for yoga teachers with 200+ hours of training and a minimum of one year teaching experience.
These courses are also ideal for physical therapists, massage therapists and health care professionals seeking to incorporate research-based yogic principles into their practices. Each module is eligible for 30 Contact Hours of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) with Yoga Alliance.

Myofascial Release and Fascial Health Teacher Training
Learn how to effectively and skillfully teach Myofascial Release Techniques with private clients and within group yoga classes using current research about the role and the anatomy of fascia and connective tissues.

Yin Yoga and Fascial Health Advanced Yoga Teacher Training
This training includes anatomy of the fascia, exploration of Yin qualities of a yoga practice and sequencing to balance the energies associated with Traditional Chinese Medicine Meridian Lines. We’ll discuss new research on fascial health and learn how to safely and effectively teach Yin Yoga in group classes at all levels.

Spinal Anatomy and Dysfunction Teacher Training
Explore an in-depth look at spinal anatomy both globally and locally. Learn to assess spinal mobility as well as how to address common injuries and types of dysfunction through yoga and pranayama.

Restore and Meditate Teacher Training
Discuss in-depth the physiological implications of stress and how meditation mitigates the effects of stress on the nervous system. Learn to effectively guide students into the Relaxation Response through meditation, mindfulness practices, pranayama and Restorative Yoga Poses. Practice guiding students into and out of Restorative Yoga Postures with clear verbal cues and helpful hands-on adjustments.
