Stiff Neck? Try This…

This neck traction technique is one of my all time favorites.

How to do it:

1️⃣ Wrap the yoga strap at the base of your skull  

2️⃣ Hold the strap firmly, one end in each hand

3️⃣ Effort your chin down and back

4️⃣ Lift the strap up and away

5️⃣ Equalize the effort of both your chin and your arms to traction length into the cervical spine and make space around your brain stem

6️⃣Rock your head like it’s swaying in a hammock, using the strength of your arms and the movement of the strap

 
 

Voila, Miraculous: the result is a feeling of ease in your neck, release in your suboccipitals and improved posture.
