Make Your Morning

For me, if it doesn’t get done by 9 am, it’s probably not going to get done. Everything important happens in the morning.

I have to purposefully carve out time to set my mood, my intention, my focus and my health as a priority EVERY SINGLE MORNING.

Each work day, I start my morning with the same routine I call “Vacuum and a Prayer.”

I methodically vacuum the wood floor of my yoga studio and breathe slowly so that I can transition from a hectic morning where I’m shoving dogs out fridges and kids into cars and I recite this morning prayer:

“Waking this morning I smile,

A brand new day is upon me.

I aspire to live each moment mindfully

And to look upon all Beings with eyes of love and compassion.

May I be a blessing to all whom I encounter today.”  ✨

This gentle routine is a mindful re-set; something I deeply need in order to serve my clients.
