There is Nothing I Can Say to Convince You to Practice Yoga.

There is nothing I can say to convince you to practice yoga.

I know this to be inherently true because I got my toddler a purple scooter with light-up disco wheels.

She’s excellently compliant about wearing her two-toned purple helmet while she’s on the scooter.

This is exactly where her compliance stops.

We were in our basement the other morning; I was desperately trying to speak to my family over the cacophony of RussellClive begging for ‘second breakfast,’ my husband lifting weights and listening to god-knows-what rap music 🙄 and EJ riding her scooter amidst a homemade obstacle course of doom.

In her tiny sweet voice, EJ rolls by me and sing-songs this Truth Bomb: 🎵 “No one’s listening to you, mom.” 🎵

It wasn’t meant to be malicious; it was simply meant to be a voice of reason.

Honestly, it was shocking and adorable and hilarious and heartbreaking all at once.

There is nothing I can say to convince you to practice yoga.

I could tell you about the hundreds of physical benefits; I could summarize hundreds of research studies; I could preach for decades about the wisdom of this ancient tradition that was developed to alleviate suffering internally and externally and transform communities with a vision of peace and wholeness. ✨

But, guess what? There’s a high probability that no one is listening to me.

You HAVE TO experience it.  ✨

Instead of telling you about it, I’d like you to experience three Complimentary Yoga Therapeutics Classes and allow your body to do the listening.
