Postnatal Yoga Therapeutics Classes
7 Days of Relief for New Mamas:
Postnatal Yoga Therapeutics Classes with Lisa Ash Drackert
After giving birth, your body needs specific stretches to alleviate stiffness associated with caring for your Baby.
This Yoga Therapeutics Series targets what you need most in your precious Postnatal Recovery Period.
Each video is short (7 minutes to 20 minutes) and easy to follow (you don’t even need a yoga mat!) so you can breathe, move, and recover every day of the week.
What’s Inside:
Day 1: “Neck Release”
A seated class featuring neck stretches to unwind tension in your neck, jaw, shoulders, and upper back. (7 minutes)
Day 2: “Alleviate Shoulder and Chest Tension”
An energizing sequence that opens the chest and shoulders to support the postural muscles that work so hard for you and your family. (9 minutes)
Day 3: “Breathe Better”
Learn to massage (through Self-Myofascial Release) your key breathing muscle: your diaphragm. This muscle loses its elasticity during pregnancy and needs to be strengthened after delivery. You'll also stretch your side body, chest, and torso to help you breathe better and bring compassionate awareness to your healing body with deep, conscious breathing. (15 minutes)
Day 4: “Postnatal Core Strength”
Strengthen your pelvic floor and internal hip rotators with this focused, Postnatal Core Strength sequence. You'll start the class with reclined pelvic tilts and deep breathing. *Safe for moms 3 weeks after vaginal delivery and 7 weeks after C-section. (7 minutes)
Day 5: “Postnatal Rehab and Core Support”
Learn to integrate deep core muscles and pelvic floor strength with subtle movements to rehab your posture and low belly muscles. This class is a MUST for new moms to re-learn how to engage your core safely and effectively after birth. (7 minutes)
Day 6: “Alleviate Low Back Tension”
Learn the two Best Yoga Therapeutics techniques for alleviating low back tension. This entire class takes place lying down so it’s great for floor play with your baby. (12 minutes)
Day 7: “Low Back Relief”
These simple seated stretches instantly relieve low back discomfort. You’ll want to do this every day! (7 minutes)
