What is Myofascial Release?
What is Myofascial Release? Turns out, it's one of my all-time favorite things in the world! Myofascial Release (MFR) as I teach it, is a self-applied soft tissue manipulation technique that reduces pain and increases range of motion. Tools such as yoga blocks, yoga blankets and massage balls (my go-to brand is @RADRoller) apply a variety of mechanical stimuli to the tissues to relieve strain and encourage blood flow and OVERALL FEEL AMAZING!
I use MFR every single day on my tricky S-I Joint and on an old shoulder injury; I also use it before and after hiking and yoga. 3 Ways to Learn with me: 1.
